Cousham Cottage is a 17th century smugglers cottage in the heart
of Cawsand village. It also used to be the village sweet shop and still has the
bell on the door and the large display window. Comfortable living accommodation
with an open plan lounge/dining area and kitchen. Newly renovated within the
last couple of years, with slate floor throughout the downstairs areas and up
the stairs. There is a log burner in the lounge, Smart TV with DVD player, and
WiFi. Two bathrooms on the ground floor, one with a bath and overhead
shower, the other with a large walk in shower.
Upstairs are two bedrooms, the master
bedroom with king sized bed, and a twin bedroom. White Company sheets are used
on the beds, and we also provide towels for your use (not for the beach though
please). Access to the terrace is from the upstairs, where there is
plenty of room to eat outside on the table and chairs, or sit and sunbathe as
it’s a bit of a sun trap. There is also a sea glimpse from between the
buildings which is lovely when a boat sails past.
Parking is in the village car park, and we
provide a car park pass for your use when staying in the cottage.
