The Cremyll Ferry is believed to have been operating continuously since 1204 runs from Stonehouse( Plymouth) to Cremyll (Cornwall).
The first steam ferry was introduced in 1885.
“The Edgcumbe Belle” was built in 1957 originally for the Railway and is presently being refurbished.
A short 8 minute crossing of the River Tamar departing every 30 minutes, passing many points of interest. the Cremyll Ferry an attraction in its own right.
