“You don’t love someone for their looks, or their clothes, or for their fancy car, but because they sing a song only you can hear.”
The historic Orangery has become one of Cornwall’s most exclusive wedding venues, nestled in 865 acres of land, steeped in heritage and surrounded by pebbled beaches and coastline. This breath taking setting and enchanting venue will provide the perfect canvas for your dream wedding reception.
This 100ft venue was built in 1775 and basks in elegance and beauty with its floor to ceiling windows and doors offering magical views of the water fountain and Italian gardens.
The Orangery has a capacity of 200 guests and can offer seating for as little as 40 guests to as many as 120 guests.
Dining can be set formal with our 7ft round tables and white table linens or informal with our large rectangular wooden tables.
The dance floor, band area and DJ are set at the opposite end of the Orangery so the venue flawlessly transcends into evening without interruption.
Your guests can party at one end and relax at the other.
If you wish you can escape to the Italian garden and sip Pimms and lemonade in the sunshine or toast champagne under the stars, the Italian garden is yours for the duration and offers gorgeous outdoor heart shaped metal seating for up to 50 guests.
We hope to meet you in the near future and thank you for showing an interest in our venue.
We are so thankful to Michelle and the rest of the team for making sure our reception at the Orangery ran smoothly. We were impressed not only with the high standard of the food, but the incredible level of service provided. From the outset, Michelle was friendly, helpful and creative; we couldn’t have asked for a more dedicated events and catering manager. What’s more, the work of the whole team was appreciated by our friends and family who praised everything from the stunning venue to the warm service and delicious food. We only wish we could experience it all over again!
