Welcome to Eastern Barn, a lovely barn conversion hidden down a quiet country lane,surrounded by sprawling fields, and located on the stunning Rame Peninsula (sometimes referred to as “Cornwall’s Forgotten Corner”).
We currently have 2 bedrooms available, 1 double and 1 single. There is a private lounge and a newly refurbished shower room for our guests’ sole use. We will only ever rent our rooms to couples, groups or families under one booking - so you won’t be sharing your facilities with strangers.
Eastern Barn is situated in Lower Tregantle, a small hamlet comprising 8 dwellings. Located minutes away, by car, from the beautiful beaches of Tregantle (Tregantle beach is only a short 10 minute walk away)and Whitsand Bay. We are located approximately 4 miles from Polhawn Fort (a popular wedding venue) and 5 miles from HMS Raleigh.
Eastern Barn offers an excellent base to explore the wonders of South East Cornwall. Our accommodation is also ideally located for anyone attending a wedding at Polhawn Fort or perhaps a passing out parade at HMS Raleigh.
You will be assured of a warm welcome and we will make your stay at our lovely home as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
We have a spacious patio area adjoining the house and a large garden of over half an acre. So there is plenty of room to chill out, relax, enjoy the views and even drink your favourite tipple.
We are happy to let out our accommodation on a “room only” basis as there are some lovely local cafes nearby and most guests seem to prefer a more leisurely start to their days. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided.
